Biography - Alexander Lyulyakin.

Alexander Lyulyakin was born on 22 December, 1979 in the city of Neryungri, Russia. A strong desire of becoming the drummer appeared when he was only three years old. His father Sergey Lyulyakin, who was a remarkable singer and guitarist, always took Alexander to his concerts. For some time Alexander had guitar lessons, because his father wanted him to become the guitarist. But Alexander’s passion was drums, so in 1997 he graduated from the Nikolayev Musical School, where he finished the Percussion Instruments Course. Then he entered Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, Nikolayev branch. Since 1997 Alexander Lyulyakin worked with Sieve Page and his band. In 2000 he joined a “Modus Band” project and worked with tremendous jazz musicians Levon Mirzoyan (the pianist) and Ruslan Amirhanov (the guitarist). Since 2002 Alexander worked for German and American Cruise companies, where he met and played with great musicians and cooperated with famous people like Jamie Michael Stewart (J. has recorded over 1000 broadcasts throughout Europe with the BBC Radio and Television Orchestras), Holly Lipton (Jesus Christ Superstar), Joe Curtis,Michael Flannagan, Paul Baker (The Lion King) etc.
In 2007 Alexander Lyulyakin moved to Kiev and played in such musical projects like “Vytivki”, Evgeniy Gorsky trio, “Know How”, “Maxima”, “Paprika”, Vlad Tsvetaev and others.
Since 2009 Alexander Lyulyakin has been the drummer of “Boombox” band.
Since 2010 Alexander Lyulyakin - Official Endorser of Mapex Drums,Zildjian Cymbals and Remo Drum Heads in Ukraine.
